I create my Eastern Hercules Beetle wall medallions from layers of wood and acrylic. I paint each component and dome the beetle's shell with resin to pick up the light.

I hand-paint each medallion individually, so the colors and the pattern vary slightly from piece to piece.

Each medallion is approximately 5 inches wide and ready to hang.
