- Do not submerge items in water or leave in a very humid location for an extended time. These conditions may cause the wood to absorb water and may affect adhesives used to attach layers together. Acrylic may also warp in extreme heat.
- When cleaning is needed, please use a very soft, slightly damp cloth to gently wipe items clean and then allow to dry thoroughly. Do not use any soaps or cleaning materials that may affect the materials or adhesives, or any rough surfaces that may scratch the finish.
- Earwires and earring posts may be cleaned and disinfected with a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab, but take care to not get rubbing alcohol on the earrings themselves as it may damage the surfaces or adhesives.
- Items may break if they are dropped or if they are hit against a hard surface.
Care and Handling
I use lightweight wood and acrylic as my primary materials. These are not indestructable materials, but with proper care they should last for many years.
