These lovely red cardinals are dedicated to the ones that nest in my yard and squabble over the bird feeder and berry bushes.

I'd never seen a cardinal in nature until I moved to the South, but now they bring me joy nearly every day. Some people call them redbirds and they are sometimes viewed as bringing messages from departed loved ones.

I cut these from wood, individually hand-paint them, then attach hypoallergenic titanium posts.
