I cut these bumblebee earrings from wood in small batches, individually paint each one (so slight variations may occur from one to the next) and coat with lacquer. Each pair is adorned with yellow jade (a type of quartz) drops. They are approximately 1 1/2 inches wide and hang 3 inches.

I use niobium ear wires because niobium is one of the most hypoallergenic and non-reactive metals available (more so than sterling silver, which may contain small amounts of nickel and other reactive metals).

Have plugs? I can convert this earring design to use a hinged steel infinity loop that can slide through a standard tunnel plug. This allows you to use your own tunnels that are comfortable for your ears.
